Description
Equivac® 2 in 1 Vaccine is the worlds first combined tetanus and strangles vaccine. The vaccine consists of a combination of the inactivated toxin of Clostridium tetani and the cell-free extract of Streptococcus equi organisms.

Given by intramuscular injection in the centre of the side of the neck.

*Unvaccinated adult horses (or horses whose vaccination record is unknown) should receive three initial vaccinations, followed by yearly boosters. 6-monthly boosters may be considered in high risk situations.
Additional Information
- Vaccination against tetanus and strangles should be included as part of every horse's vaccination program.
- A rest day is recommended after vaccination
- Store at 2°-8°C (refrigerate)
The Vet’s Recommendation
Take charge of your horse's important vaccinations.
Buying the right vaccines and administering them to your horse yourself is certainly more cost effective than paying for a vet to do it for you.
However, if you choose to vaccinate your horse yourself then please follow the recommended vaccination schedule and keep appropriate records.
